Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk steps up production by 17% in 2023

Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk, a part of Cherkizovo Group, manufactured 102,000 tonnes of broiler meat products in 2023, a 17% increase year-on-year. The growth comes from the reconstruction of production facilities.

Currently, Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk processes up to 180,000 heads per day. The facility produces more than 260 SKUs under the well-known Russian brands – Petelinka, Kurinoe Tsarstvo, and Domashnya Kurochka.

In 2023, the company’s output stood at 102,000 tonnes, up 17% year-on-year and 15 times greater than in 2006 when the poultry slaughtering and processing unit came on-stream.

Production growth is attributable to the facility upgrade that boosted its capacity. “Over the past two years, the plant has undergone major transformations: we expanded and fit out the lairage area with a modern ventilation system, installed an automated live poultry unloading line. On top of that, we built blast freezers with a capacity of 100 tonnes per day, and increased storage areas for chilled and frozen products,” says Natalia Simutina, head of slaughtering and processing at Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk.

The company cares about its employees and seeks to make their lives more comfortable: to this end, a new administrative and amenity facility was built with a modern canteen, spacious locker and utility rooms. Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk is also active improving the area surrounding the site.

Production ramp-up brings about an increase in staff: Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk has already created 1,750 jobs and continues to recruit people. University students in Bryansk enjoy internship at the facility, with some of them eventually returning to the company for permanent employment. Among the key advantages of working for the company are competitive wages, stability, career growth prospects, and modern high-tech equipment.

Starting February 2024, Kurinoe Tsarstvo’s slaughtering and processing unit introduces new work schedules (day / night / two days off) and creates jobs for an additional shift.

Kurinoe Tsarstvo Bryansk produces poultry meat in a full process cycle: from egg incubation to manufacturing high-quality meat products. The vertically integrated facility includes five modern chick-rearing sites (four in the Pochepsky District and one in the Zhukovsky District), a high-tech poultry slaughtering and processing plant in Bryansk, and an incubator for nearly 70 million eggs. The incubator launched back in 2011 is among Russia’s ten largest poultry hatching systems.
