Cherkizovo Group Receives ARFI Award for Best Disclosure Practices

July 17, 2017

Moscow, Russia – 17 July 2017 – Cherkizovo Group (LSE: CHE; MOEX: GCHE), the largest vertically integrated meat and feed producer in Russia, today announces that it has received an award from the Financial Communications and Investor Relations Alliance (ARFI).

The Financial Communications and Investor Relations Alliance (ARFI), a Russian non-profit organisation, aims to increase the transparency and investment attractiveness of Russian financial markets and to open up the financial communications market to fair competition. ARFI is a member of the Global Investor Relations Network.

The certificate was awarded for four examples of best practices contained in the 2016 Cherkizovo Group Annual Report. In Group’s reports, it visually demonstrates, in the most compact manner, the elements of its investment proposition and provides a breakdown of the seven-year dynamic of its investment programme. The report also featured market analysis, along with a comparison of Cherkizovo Group and its peers, providing an objective basis for determining the market shares of agricultural holdings.  In addition, the report includes information on the stakes of the majority shareholders of the Group and estimated free float.

The Cherkizovo Group case studies were included in the IDEAS BASE, an ARFI infrastructure project aimed at investor relations and financial communications professionals. The project aims to systematise the best examples of corporate disclosure. This will allow investor relations departments of various companies from diverse industries to use case studies to develop their own practices and approaches to interacting with the investment community.
