OJSC Cherkizovo Group (LSE: CHE), one of Russia’s leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce that it won ‘Best Annual Report 2010’ at the Russian Investor Protection Association Annual Awards on 14 December 2011.
Cherkizovo Group was declared the winner in the Best Annual Report 2010 category at the Russian Investor Protection Association’s (IRA) Annual Competition for “Russian corporate governance leaders.”
This is the second time that Cherkizovo’s annual report has been recognized for excellence, and this year’s award commended the group for the quality of the annual report’s content, information disclosed to investors, layout and graphic design.

The Investor Protection Association is a non-commercial organization established in April, 2000 on the basis of the Coordination Center for protection of investors' rights for the purpose of uniting investors' efforts aimed at the protection of their rights and improvement of the corporate governance in Russia.
