Moscow, Russia – May 12 – Cherkizovo Group, Russia's largest meat producer, has honored the debt of gratitude to the Great Patriotic War veterans as part of the 75th Victory Day celebrations and presented them with parcels containing the Company's products.
On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, Cherkizovo Group gave out food parcels to veterans across several of its geographies. Local officials visited war veterans at home to distribute the sets of sausages and chicken products.
Veterans of the Tula, Lipetsk, Penza, Moscow, Voronezh, and Bryansk regions received Cherkizovo products to add to their celebrations. The parcels were delivered to the addresses selected by regional and district authorities together with veterans' organizations.
Given Russia’s challenging epidemiological situation, the officials took the necessary safety precautions and put on medical masks and gloves.
“The jubilee of the Great Victory is an important event for every Russian. We wanted to bring joy to our veterans during this prolonged lockdown period, which is especially hard for them because of the venerable age. We will always appreciate their heroism and sacrifice for the sake of peace on Earth. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish them a happy Victory Day, good health, prosperity for many years to come, and plenty of high-quality food on their tables,” said Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Government and Public Relations at Cherkizovo Group.
