Moscow, Russia – September 23 – Cherkizovo Group (Petelinka and Pava-Pava brands), Russia’s largest meat producer, took part in charity events in the Penza and Lipetsk regions to celebrate the start of a new school year. The Company presented school kits to first-graders from low-income families.
September saw Cherkizovo Group taking part in charity initiatives for schoolchildren in the Penza and Lipetsk regions. The Penza event, Preparing Children for School, was held under the auspices of the regional governor, Ivan Belozertsev. First graders from low income and large families received school kits from Cherkizovo Group containing branded bags, pens, pencils, class schedules, and a stationery set. A total of 100 school kits were handed out to the kids.
The lists of low-income and disadvantaged families were provided by local authorities and social welfare centers.

It was therefore a great honour for us to join this wonderful and noble initiative helping children from low-income families prepare for their first school year”, commented Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Government and Public Relations at Cherkizovo Group.
