Penza, Russia – September 17 – Last Saturday, Cherkizovo Group (Petelinka, Kurinoe Tsarstvo and Pava-Pava brands), Russia’s largest meat producer, organized a running event in Penza, which drew over 1,000 participants. The fastest runners were awarded valuable prizes.
On Saturday, September 14, the residents and guests of Penza had an opportunity to take part in a running event held by Cherkizovo Group. Over 1,000 people joined the race to cover a distance of 3,500 m. Young competitors aged 7 to 10 ran a separate 250 m race.
All participants regardless of their results received a certificate and a Cherkizovo branded T-shirt, with the top men’s and women’s prizes – smart watches, fitness bracelets and smart scales – awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, respectively. All those who joined the race also had a chance to win a lottery prize from Cherkizovo Group, including a bicycle and an electric grill.
The audience could enjoy an entertainment programme featuring athletes and performers from Penza, while the animation team was there to ensure a great time for the kids.
