The project seeks to attract and train young engineers and skilled workers, while also boosting the prestige of employment in the agricultural sector through joint efforts of the business community and educational institutions. Today, after three years since the project's launch, the initiative's partners include such high-profile universities as Razumovsky Moscow State University of Technologies and Management, Voronezh State Agricultural University, Penza State Agricultural University, Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Higher School of Economics and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
The initiative enables the students to take dual learning courses that combine theoretical training in higher education institutions and on-site apprenticeship in a company, and participate in projects tackling real life business challenges. It also supports the launch of new training programs and improvement of the existing ones in response to the prevailing business needs, while also offering career guidance in schools and universities.
The past year saw over 70 students successfully complete the dual learning courses, with three new training programs launched at universities and 25 additional students enrolled at colleges. Cherkizovo's educational efforts serve to sparkle interest in agricultural professions highlighting their importance and focus on high technologies and innovation. Yours.Present.Future aims to engage universities and colleges to develop and introduce universal training programs and technologies aligned with the industry needs, build an effective succession system by securing a stable flow of young talents into the Group, and help the Company become a top three employer for young industry professionals by 2020.
