Moscow, Russia – 7 June 2019 – Cherkizovo Group and Gorbatov’s All-Russian Meat Research Institute of RAS (VNIIMP) signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The parties agreed to establish business, communication and administration ties to improve the quality of meat that is produced and sold in Russia in terms of its compliance with technical regulations, laws, and Russian and international standards. To that end, the partners will exchange relevant economic, technical, technological and legal information.
The cooperation between Cherkizovo Groupand Gorbatov’s All-Russian Meat Research Institute will include joint meetings, discussions and consultations; development of standards and assessment models for the meat quality assurance system; publishing information on each other’s performance; joint conferences, seminars, round tables and other science events, as well as R&D work at Cherkizovo Group’s laboratories and the test center ofGorbatov’s All-Russian Meat Research Institute.
Gorbatov’s All-Russian Meat Research Institute is a leading research organization providing methodological support for the development of Russia’s meat industry. By combining basic and applied research, the Institute is able to tackle theoretical challenges while also finding effective solutions to common meat processing problems, as well as applying its scientific expertise to production and promoting the development of the meat processing industry.
