Cherkizovo Group is Russia’s largest producer of meat products. The Group is one of the top three companies serving Russia’s chicken, pork and processed meat markets and is the country’s largest feed manufacturer.
Cherkizovo Group’s infrastructure includes 8 full cycle poultry production complexes with a combined capacity of 550,000 tonnes live weight per year, 15 modern pork production complexes with a combined capacity of 200,000 tonnes live weight per annum and 6 meat processing plants with a combined capacity of 200,000 tonnes per year. In addition, the Company owns 9 feed mills with a combined annual capacity of over 2.5 million tonnes, grain storage facilities with overall storage capacity of more than 850,000 tonnes and over 140,000 hectares of agricultural land. In 2015, Cherkizovo Group produced more than 825,000 tonnes of meat products.
The Group’s vertically integrated structure, which includes grain growing, grain storage, feed production, livestock breeding, fattening and slaughtering, and meat processing facilities, along with its own distribution system, has helped it to deliver long-term, stable growth of both sales and revenue. The Company’s consolidated revenue in 2015 reached 77,0 billion rubles.
In the past five years alone, Cherkizovo Group has invested over $1.5 billion in developing Russia’s agro-industrial sector.
